Trinity Covington from Seattle Colleges recently joined a Seattle Special Education PTSA meeting to share information about the Seattle Promise program.

All seniors are eligible for Seattle Promise, regardless of GPA. The program offers up to 2 years of free tuition to Seattle Public Schools’ (SPS) high school seniors. The program offers additional support, such as application assistance, academic support, and career assistance.

Dr. Caleb Perkins, Executive Director for College and Career Readiness at SPS also joined the meeting to discuss the High School and Beyond Plan (HSBP) and how these programs are utilized in the Special Education Department for students with IEPs and 504 plans.
