I am grateful to be joining the wonderful crew of people supporting SSEPTSA. I have spent my career working in special education, primarily in research and teaching. I earned my doctorate in special education from the University of Kansas and later worked as research faculty. After my kids were born, I shifted to teaching special education in Seattle Public Schools.
My oldest son has an IEP, and our family has been fortunate to work with a long list of exceptional educators who have supported us. I look forward to being part of this community and serving our students, teachers, and families.
